On his way to school Mr. Donohue said that he found a rucksack. Unfortunately there was no name on the bag, so we looked inside to see what might be in the bag. If we can figure out who the bag belongs to we can return it to its owner.
These are the things we found in the bag:
a pencil, a torch, a screwdriver, a hammer and a builder's helmet.
We had a chat about the different jobs and occupations where tools like these would be used. We thought of caretakers, builders, carpenters, mechanics. There is a building site near our school (it is the new Gaelscoil Dara school). Maybe a builder or workman on the site has lost his bag. We are like detectives, figuring out who might have lost the bag.
