Venus is a planet that has lots of Volcanoes on it and Mars has the biggest volcano (Olympus Mons) in ouir solar system. Today we made our own volcano using bread soda and vinegar (with wash up liquid and red food colouring for extra special effects!)
We filled the bottle with the bread soda, the food colour and the wash up liquid.
Then when we added the vinegar this is what happened:
The bread soda reacted with the vinegar to make bubbles of Carbon Dioxide.
This gas came bubbling out the top of the volcano, along with the mixture.
